Welcome to Minami Town!
At the Minami-cho Tourism Association, we are happy to help you with anything you need about our town!
Minami-cho is made up of two neighbouring fishing towns - Yuki and Hiwasa. The town is famous for its beautiful Ohama Beach, where sea turtles have been coming to lay their eggs for centuries. On the opposite side of the town lies Yakuoji Temple, temple no. 23 in the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage (or Ohenro), which receives hundreds of visitors wishing to be spared of misfortune every year. With the pacific ocean on one side and mountains and clear rivers on the other, the town is bountiful in nature, attracting visitors throughout the year. The town is compact in size, with supermarkets, restaurants and accommodations, all in walkable distance.
We look forward to welcoming you!
